Champaka Ramachandran, Ph.D
Champaka Ramachandran has 25 years of EDA software experience and has developed several commercial EDA tools in Synopsys, Synplicity, Cadence and Lightspeed Semiconductors. She has a number of synthesis patents associated with physical synthesis. She has also managed an in-house CAD team and developed custom EDA tools at Lightspeed semiconductors. .
Champaka brings a vast expertise in synthesis technology, timing optimization and physical design to VeriKwest Systems Inc. Champaka received her Ph.D and Masters in Electrical Engineering from University of California Irvine, where she focussed on timing and area estimation for synthesis. She also has a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani.
Raj Mitra, Ph.D

Raj S Mitra has joined Cisma with 25+ years of experience, having previously worked with Texas Instruments, Synopsys, Cadence, Interra Systems, and CMC Ltd. At TI, Raj was the EDA Manager for the India site and also developed efficient methodologies for formal verification and high level synthesis. At Synopsys and the other EDA organizations, he developed EDA tools for verification and high level synthesis.
Before entering the field of EDA, he used to work on Image Processing and Fingerprint Pattern Recognition at CMC Ltd. Raj received his BTech, MTech, and PhD degrees in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur, and has published several papers at DAC, ICCAD, and IEEE transactions, and holds 2 patents.
Loganath Ramachandran, Ph.D
Founder and Director
Loganath Ramachandran is a verification expert with more than 25 years of EDA experience. Prior to founding VeriKwest, he served as R & D Director in the VCS team at Synopsys, Mountain View where he focussed on SystemVerilog simulation. He was also responsible for the rollout of CoCentric System Studio, a SystemC verification tool from Synopsys.
Loganath also served as a member of the IEEE 1800 committee that standardized SystemVerilog. He was also member of the OSCI committe that standardized the SCV library for verification
He has also served in engineering roles at Angeles Design, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments and LSI. He has authored several patents in the area of wavelet based image compression.
Loganath currently serves on the technical program committees for various international conferences, including DVCON USA and DVCON India.
Loganath received his Ph.D and Masters in Computer Science from University of California, Irvine, where he was awarded the Chancellor's Fellow. He has a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai.
